Dr. Werner Kubsch Award
Dr. Werner O. Kubsch (1922-1992) was the founder and President of Studiosus Reisen Munchen, the largest independent educational and cultural travel organization in Europe. He was born in Mathildau/Silesia.

He received his first professional experience in student travel as manager of the academic travel service at the University of Munich in 1952. He was educated at the University of Munich, University of Rome, University of Padua and Stanford University.

His awards include the Order of Calvaliere Della Republica Italiana and Order of Merit for the Federal Republic of Germany.

The award is given to a community college educator who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in international education related to community colleges, and to the betterment of international relations.

The award will consist of a stipend of $500.00, a recognition plaque and will allow a complimentary registration to the CCID Annual Conference.

The winner will be selected by the CCID Board of Directors. In addition to the nomination criteria, the Board will look for creativity, innovation and demonstrated achievement.

Anyone, including non-CCID colleges,
